Cathy Yenca is Mathy Cathy and she is a middle school teacher with a main focus in, you guessed it, math! Mathy Cathy's website is a fun and interesting website for learning about her personal teaching philosophies and how she incorporates technology into her classroom on a day to day basis. She is extremely knowledgeable in what seems to be almost everything tech related. I love her use of apps in the classroom and that she seems to always ask her students what they would like to do and if they have any ideas on different ways to use tech in the classroom. I really like the way she writes her articles, in a way that everyone can relate to including her daily struggles. This blog seems very personal and  holds so much important information for future educators. Under media and mentions she has a HUGE amount of links to helpful tips and good resources that is amazing and seems to be extremely helpful for other teachers learning about technology. I love that this website is not simply about her alone, she talks about her students and how they have helped her find things that will help them learn, and I think that is such an important part of keeping students focused and excited to learn. The celebrations part is such a good section to have included because it made me as the viewer feel like I wasn't alone, I love that she posts the responses from other viewers of her blog who have implemented some of her ideas in their classroom.
