Shelley Fryer

              Shelley Fryer is an amazing woman from Oklahoma who has created a school for homeless children. Reading Fryer's blog will move anyone to tears. The endless amounts of work this woman does for all of these students is extremely inspiring. I HIGHLY suggest any teacher, new to the field or experienced, take a long look at her blog. Shelley is all about changing the way these students think about themselves and looking for a more positive future for them. Without Shelley Fryer these students would not have any of these amazing opportunities. 
              Fryer's website is so easy to navigate and I love her classroom site even more. There are no distracting images or colors that will pull students away from what they are trying to find, or what they are learning about. A classroom website is something I have always been concerned about, but Shelley makes it look so easy! The classroom site is so easy to navigate and has everything her students will need throughout the day. Fryer's classroom seems like such an open and invited place to be, I wish I could see her teach her class in person!
            The classroom channels tab is definitely my personal favorite on her website. I LOVE all of the videos of her students and what they are doing daily. Her energy just carries even through these videos you can see how much she loves working with these kiddos, and how much they appreciate all that she is doing for them. 
             I just can't say enough about all of the positive things Shelley Fryer is doing for homeless children in her area. This is something I would love to start in different areas all over the United States.
